TransUnion Names Todd Skinner Regional President in Canada

TransUnion, a leading global information solutions provider, announced today that Todd Skinner has been appointed as the regional president of TransUnion's operations in Canada, effective March 19, 2014.

"TransUnion has provided important services to Canadian companies and consumers for 25 years, and we believe Todd will play an integral role in growing the business even further," said David Neenan, president of international at TransUnion. "Todd brings with him a breadth of insight into the world of credit and finance and a finely honed leadership skillset developed throughout an accomplished career."

Skinner joins TransUnion from First Canadian Title Company, where he served as president of the company's Default Solutions division. He spent more than 20 years at HSBC Canada in a variety of roles, ranging from regional sales positions to president and CEO of HSBC Financial. In addition to his roles at HSBC Canada, he served in an advisory capacity within the credit bureau industry for a number of years.

Prior to leaving HSBC Canada, Skinner held the position as the COO of the Retail and Wealth Management bank, ultimately becoming the chief credit officer.
